Over the last couple of days, I've been working on a few risograph prints, for landscapes in the Mediterranean: Playing with the layering of the colours and compositions, as well as textures to make them more interesting. Here are how they turned out! I'm really pleased with the more abstract leaf prints, as the block colour really brings them to life. Printing these works as risographs, automatically brings a more illustrative and abstract approach to the work, which I enjoy. The beach landscape print with the umbrella works well too, as I deliberately chose the final layer of pink to pick out the texture in the line work to bring it all together. The other landscape didn't work out quite as I'd hoped: The decision of which colours should go where wasn't quite right but I'm glad I tried it and got loads of prints from the run - hopefully to go up on my Etsy page soon!
